Hello evom. I have been a long time lurker and never posted much but I am selling my stock and very clean 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII and figured this would be a good place to list it. This is the first of the Evolution series to be brought to the US market and is a prime example of what a was originally delivered to customers back in 2003. Some highlights of the vehicle are clean title in hand, 44k original miles, original engine (never been rebuilt), perfect body and paint with only a few minor blemishes, OEM exhaust, all under tray components, fenders have never been rolled, dealer installed Ralliart front and rear aluminum strut bars (rare), stock interior with no rips or tears, OEM evolution MR gauge cluster, factory sun-roof, non-smoker, and no pet car.
A few items to be aware of are there is some curbage on the wheels (this has since been repaired, see images below), the rear carbon fiber wing needs re-cleared, the Brembo brakes are starting to have the normal Evo paint issues, the front bumper has some scrapes, the tires are older but other than that the car is a real joy to drive and has a presence only a Group A homologation rally car could have. Mechanically the car is very sound and has no issues what so ever.
I also have a few additional items like the spec sheet from Mitsubishi with all of the options that are unique to this car along with two marketing brochures from when Mitsubishi first introduced this car to the US market in 2003. All in all this is a very clean and well sorted car and the pictures speak for themselves. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me. Yeah I may just spend the extra money and put the rest of the pictures up. Just seems like Autotrader nickles and dimes you on all the additional features that seem like they should be included in the first place.
As far as the strut bars and brochures go I would like to keep them with the car. Its pretty cool that the hero car in the brochure is also silver and that the strut bars are featured in it as well.
