The backstory - The car was fully built by Forged Performance in Marietta, GA about 8 years ago. The original owner is a friend of mine who was deployed back in 2010 while the car was still at Forged being built. My buddy did a few tours and came back 8 years later and left the car at Forged (the story is much longer than this but this is the short version). Whatever happened between him and Forged is their deal, but cut to now I was called by my brother in law who was the shop foreman months back and said the evo was being posted for sale because the owner was just done the with car. He never even got to drive the car since its been built. The EVO was built in 2010 and has SAT the entire time (hence the paint) so you can almost say the parts are new (lol I use "new" loosely). I purchased the car without question because I knew the parts used and who built it and knew this car was deff worth the price tag even with the paint being faded.
Cut to present day - I only drive this thing back and fourth to the gym every 3-4 weeks to keep it running. But now it just sits at my in laws where my wife and I are living while our home finishes getting built. I planned on wrapping the car and finishing the tune and installing fresh tires. Plans changed on our home build and we ended building a more expensive home and I am no longer interested in building an a car at the moment. So, instead of clogging up the driveway with 6 cars for another 7 months, I am now letting this thing go. I haven't registered the car since I purchased it so its still one owner. If a prospected buyer wants to speak with the original owner he will gladly speak with you and tell you the full story from his perspective.
Onto the car, due to some other shop issues I started to have (nothing against anyone here) I decided to pick up the car (my choice) without a final tune. Currently, the car is tuned at 18 pis making approx 430-450whp on 93 oct. I still rip this thing without issue and no one could even tell this thing sat for years based on how it drives. Its a 800whp capable car and may end up getting a flex fuel kit and having it tuned for the new buyer. We will see. The interior is flawless! no holes, tears and barley any seat wear. Nothing broken or that needs fixing mainly needs tires due to some dry rotting, final tune, and paint or vinyl wrap. Forged replaced anything and everything that needed to be replaced before letting me take it off their hands to ensure it was in great condition before driving on the streets. AC blows ice cold and heat works perfectly.
THE BAD:
Paint - worse parts are Hood, front bumper, roof and spoiler and trunk. The doors, front fenders and side skirts are still in good condition. ZERO dings, dents or scratches.
Tune - not really "needed" but if you have a 800+ hp capable car might as well take advantage of it
