I have had the car for the last 9 years and I have never driven it in the winter here in Mn. I have just put about 8k in to it and I have the receipts for what I have had done to it. I really didn't drive it that much. I did a car-fax on it and it show that in 2007 that it has a salvage title in the state of New York but it does not say what happen. I know that New York is one of the eleven states also use Salvage titles to identify stolen vehicles - AZ, FL, GA, IL, MD, MN, NJ, NM, NY, OK and OR. I think it was stolen because all of the vin number are in the right places. I have NOT seen any signs of any damage or any parts being replacement. I bought the car for a guy in Wisconsin and it had a clean title as in it didn't have the big red stamp on it saying salvage titles. when I transfer the title to Minnesota it came in as a clean title. My other car is a salvage titles so i know what to look for. So you should not have any problems getting a loan if any one goes that way for buying it. It has little to zero rust on it. The car could use a good buff job to and the interior is in really good shape for being 16 years old as in there no tears any were.
