Description:
Hey guys and gals, the time has come to put up my Evo9 MR for sale. I really don't drive it that much over the years and it could be better enjoyed by someone else.
Right off the bat, contact me by phone to talk about this vehicle. You must meet me in person to purchase it, I've sold like 7 cars over the last decade.
443-Four One Seven-4811
Car is located outside of Columbus, Ohio. If you fly here that is the airport I'll pick you up.
I am a family man, wife, baby... I've owned the car since April 2008 (11k miles), I bought the car from a family man out of Chicago who bought the car from someone else (yes 3 owners). I am an automotive engineer, I have took great care for this vehicle over its life, however its not 10/10 perfect. It has just over 78k miles. The car has been garaged its entire life and only daily driven for 1 year, otherwise it has always been a 2nd and 3rd car.
I have kept a maintenance journal of everything ever done to the car and the parts which were installed. The journal is for me, not you, however it does tell its story and you'll get to have it.
Strong pros:
The car looks amazing. I get compliments on it at every cars and coffee or car show asking if its the original paint.
The interior is really nice and makes it feel up scale with the full suede bits.
The car is in great mechanical shape with a pretty conservative tune since like 2013 (? don't quote me on that)
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the car to my knowledge, I still drive it to work and let her rip.
When I built this car I came from a highly modded VW and it took years to tune it to drive like stock. This car was built with the purpose to be exactly like stock with some more power and I achieved exactly that.
Cons:
FR bumper has 78k miles, so you'll see some stone chips.
The RR fender roll job is not so great, you'll see in the photos they have been pulled, some wave, some people never notice.
Some brake calipers have started to blister again (replaced under warranty many yrs ago).
Takata passenger airbag has not been replaced due to me not trusting the dealer to pull apart this interior (however, it is unplugged)
Quick run through of some highlights

Extras: Stock parts I have stored with the car on purpose for this moment when I sell it.
Original Wheels are in great shape, no curb rash. There are two scuffs on the wheels and some brake dust which has been coming off with clay bar and a lot of elbow grease. I'm not sure if it will all come off like new however. I think these wheels came off like at 40 or 60k miles so they have some life of being driven on.
Stock trunk & wing. I took the stock trunk off to preserve the original wing. The wing is in excellent shape, you may be able to tell the reflection of the ceiling off those pictures.
OEM shiftknob, stock chin spoiler, and some random stock parts I've kept over the years shown in pictures.
OK that's it, again, give me a call if you are serious and interested in this vehicle. Its the best way to ask me questions and learn more about the car. I am going to be up front and honest with you as I would expect if I were in your position.
I don't need the money, so please don't waste your time to low ball me and ask for my best price.
Lastly, you must meet me face to face to purchase this vehicle, no exceptions.
Joe
