I see that it has AZ plates on it and you mentioned that it needs to have a smog check. Is it registered in CA or AZ? Honestly it doesn't matter too much because I can resolve all of that but I'm wondering what the hold up is on the PS. If the Bank had a loan but the loan was in another state and you paid off the loan that would explain the hold up. If you can let me know where that stands that will help me know how much work I would need to due to get the title over. Rich - car is registered in az but is at my ca house right now. Figured I would stand a better chance selling it in ca. Car will 100% legally pass ca smog once the car goes to the dealer to get the tune recall done. I am honestly not sure what the hold up is now. I got confirmation a few weeks that the loan company released the title to me. It was getting mailed to my ca address. My loan company did say it was an electronic title so it may take a little while to get it. However ADOT is typically way faster than the DMV. I have 3 cars registered in az and have never had anything take over a week to get to my ca address. So ya, that's where we are at....
Ok I got the title stuff sorted out. Should be here possibly by the end of the week. I will be out of the state until sometime next week so if I dont respond to anyone quickly, you know why.
Title is now in hand. The most current high bidder is flying out this weekend to pick it up. If he doesn't, I have at least 3 back up offers for a bit less. Long story short, if you want it more than anyone else, better put in an offer at asking price or higher.
