Hello EvoM members! Hope you are all doing well as we move into beautiful summer weather! The time has come for me to sell my beloved 2006 Evo 9 SE. I have owned the car for a couple of years and bought it from my uncle who originally purchased it brand new from Hayward Mitsubishi in 2006.

We have been a loyal Evo loving family since the Evo 8 originally debuted in the United States. The car is absolutely gorgeous and gets positive attention everywhere it goes! From people waving, taking pictures, giving a thumbs up, to coming to chat about it at a gas station or parking lot. It is in meticulous condition and has always been given the care and respect it deserves.

The car has only had 2 owners (my uncle and myself) and has been driven by mature, responsible adults in its entirety. It has a clean title and has never been in any accidents. The only incident that occurred with the car was when a pinecone hit the front hood and dented it. I tried to have insurnace cover the replacement but they didn't. I didn't want any imperfections in the car so I had the hood replaced with an identical oem hood myself. I still have the original one somewhere in storage.

The car has never been launched, tracked, auto-crossed, or abused. I have been the only one to drive it. It has never needed any repairs whatsoever beside routine maintenance. It is in excellent mechanical condition and runs flawlessly. I give it a solid 9.5/10. The brakes (calipers and rotors) and tires were recently changed so they are still pretty much new. The car has a 3m hotrod red wrap professionally installed by elite auto films. Original color of the car is black. The wrap itself is holding very well but the only part that needs re-wrapping if you prefer is the front bumper (near the holes for fog lights). That area is difficult to wrap and prone to getting loose over time (it hasn't bothered me so I left it alone).

It has always been serviced by a trustworthy family friend who owns a performance shop in the Bay Area which services all my cars. The only reason I am selling it is because times have changed and I have moved on from JDM cars to exotics. I currently have a R8 and GT3 in the stable and will be getting a Huracan Performante.

I do not have enough space for this car and I would rather pass it on to a fellow enthusiast to enjoy. In case it does not sell for my asking price I will probably build a separate garage to store it since it's such a great fun all around car. I have been browsing this forum intermittently since 2005 and it has been very helpful in helping me so thank you all. This evo is my dream spec and each mod was carefully selected and no expense was spared. All mods were purchased brand new.

It is currently making ~400whp/wtq on a mustang dyno on E85 and has a dual map for premium fuel as well. See mods list below. It will provide many years of trouble-free happiness to the future owner. I am asking $30k or a reasonable offer which I feel is a fair price given the history, model/spec, and condition of the car. Enjoy the pics! Please contact me with any questions.
