Got Screwed from an Evo M menber

Well back in the summer of last year I contacted EvoRacer619 for a AC Condensor it was 150 + 15 to ship... said he did not take paypal... but he said in quotes

"I dont take paypal since i lost money threw them i take western union its really fast since you can send money online or money order its up to you"

So I went to a western union here in my home town sent the money via WU... called him on his cell and he said hell ship it out the next day....

1 Month 2 Months gone by, called him on the contact # he gave me to only get a rejected call..... Many more Months has gone by I try calling again to find out the auto message says "This user is not accepting calls at this time please try again later..."

Well by now I have given up... so that was all back in may of last year and I just get this PM from him saying

"I know you must think i took your money but i didnt im really so its been months. If you dont need the item anymore i want to give back your item give me a call or PM me back asap thanks"

So I try calling and I get the same msg and he wont PM me back.... pretty pissed but ya....

Hey,

Well, i am sorry that you were scammed, but you should have read up more information on Western Union and learned that it is probably the worst way to send money to someone... Anyone that even meantions WU to me, unless i PERSONALLY know them (family, very close friends, ect)... the deal is off.

Sorry though.

Noobs....when will they learn. NEVER SEND SOMEONE YOUR MONEY FIRST....ESPECIALLY WESTERN UNION. I only deal with paypal......and I am still wary as to whom I am dealing with on paypal too!

FYI, paypal is a joke too... Make sure the buyer has a confirmed address of they can claim that they did not receive the item and get a full refund... And you are out of the item and cash then. Also, DO NOT EVER LEAVE MONEY IN YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT. Paypal will freeze your account for some of the most BS reasons (they can't even provide people with ones that at least could be real) and keep the money for 180 days....

Yes, paypal is still much better then Western Union. I do not beleive there is any 100% safe way to conduct business over the internet (forum wise. Obviously sites like amazon.com are safe and such)

Sucks that you were scammed, but Western Union is a dead giveaway... you might of well had just mailed cash to a random address

Don't feel bad I paypaled a guy on here, he shipped me the item, it was damaged, UPS picked it up, and gave the guy the check for the claim. So I am out my money and what I bought....some people.
