received several PM's, ended up going with from dtkb87 as his offer was low, but his seller rating seemed good. Paypal'd him promptly the $30 he asked (as a gift, yes, my fault there)

On Aug 11 he said he'd have it out by the 13th.

After hearing nothing, I PM'd him on the 20th for a status, shipping info, or anything. He finally got back to me on the 22nd with this:

Awesome. It had been two Mondays since the last time we spoke, and I don't know which one he sent it on. Hell, now I realize I don't even know what "LI" in his location indicator means.

I've PM'd several times since then, have heard nothing. Thankfully it's only 30 bucks, but the principle of the matter still pisses me off.

In all honesty, maybe it is in the mail, maybe the UPS guy delivered it and a dog ran off with it. Maybe his dog died and he was so grief stricken he mailed me a chew toyinstead. Without a tracking number I have no way of knowing and this post will stand until it's resolved. A little communication goes a long way with me.

So, yeah, buyer beware, and just pay the damn paypal fees so you can file a dispute.

 

Oh, forgot to mention that I realize that not everyone lives on this forum, so I have emailed the address that I sent the paypal to, so I've done what I can there as well.

 

I see he didn't respond to your thread. I assume he pm'd you directly? Do you know his name and address? Doing a quick google search, I found feedback on ebay and a twitter account (with a name) by searching dtkb87. Oh yeah and LI stands for Long Island in New York

 

yeah, he pm'ed me directly. I don't have his address, but I'll see if I can dig up his name.

I honestly haven't had a lot of time to devote to hunting him down, but I kinda figured LI was either long island or Lincoln, or something of that nature.

 

Yeah I mean like you said, it's only $30. Rather just take the hit and make it known not to deal with him?

 

Good to see he's still logging on, He might as well go ahead and get a new screen name, every thread, every post, I'll be sure to be right behind him asking where the hell my actuator or money is at.


edit: also, good to see this thread comes up at the top for his screen name, lets see if I can get a little SEO for Kenneth J Brown, or Kenny brown to get that up there too.
