welcome, awesome to see a "Cali" Evo over here in MD. Our next meet will probablly be sometime next month, if the weather is good. but if you want to meet up with me sooner I can show you around the area. As far as winter tires go, I would buy a good winter tire if you actually plan to drive your evo around in the snow. I'd get a good all season if your just worried about some rain and some light snow on your way home from work or what not. I don't actually plan to drive mine in the snow since I have a second car that I can drive around in the snow.

Anyway, check on www.mdevolution.net, that's the local club for the area.

Sorry I didn't make it. Thanks to the most wonderful time of the year, I spent that day Christmas shopping with my wife.

I was at the meet. Turnout was a bit light which was dissapointing especially since I made custom vinyl decals for everyone. But I Put some on my car and it looks pretty good. Just a little something extra to spice it up. I don't imagine that we will have another meet this winter but keep me posted if you do.

Yes, this time more in this area. I went to a barbecue for a work function at Centennial park which is in Ellicott city. Its not anywhere near as far as the last barbecue but it will still be closer and more accessable for DC people. They had these awsome pavilliions with sandpit volleyball and plenty of parking. I was very impressed. It would be a great place to have a meet. I'm told that its about $125 for one of the big nice pavillions but they have other smaller ones that are less expensive.

I'd like to do that. As long as we keep it closer to the Baltimore area.

How about double rock park. It's close, cheap. I think $20 to reserve a pavilion. I might be able to get a gas grill to the park. Or we can just do charcoal.

I'd say Rock state park is out. Its not a horrible park, but I can think of better and its seriously out of the way for a majority of our members. We should keep the location more towards the baltimore area. Rock state park is in biking distance from my parents house so I'd be cool with it but I know most of the Baltimore area members couldn't make it.

Hey Kendel, where is double rock park?
