Car Show in DC

Anyone go to the car show in DC last week? I went yestereday and it was awesome. Every 2005 model was there. And there were a few concept cars.

I know I sound like a kid but I got to sit in a MR... made my day. I think they are running today and then it's over. You should check it out if you have the time.

Also, World of Wheels is scheduled to be in DC the first weekend on March I do believe.

I had fun there too, but I was disappointed that there there wasn't a V8 S4 there. It also would have been fun if they could have had the new Z06 there. I was really wondering about the race WRX STi with the Makinen decal on the window. Is that a replica? An actual spare race car?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the Makinen Rally car as well. Me and my buddies went by there and I was like drooling, I had to explain to them why not all racing is Nascar left turn style and why the rally car we were looking at was important. But it would be good to know if it was a replica.

It did notice that the interior had a roll bar and all of the interior was ripped out. Kinda pointless to do all that to a replica. Plus it had some damage to it, so my guess it is real. I'll have to look at the pics my friends took.

I didn't notice the damage. The body was also clearly not close to stock. It had huge flares.

Yeah I saw his car and have several pics of it. I love the body kit on that car. I got to get all the pics from my friend... I'll try to get some of them up but I got no place to host them.

If you looked close you could see some little damage that makes me think that the car was run. No dents or anything of that nature but small scratches, but you really had to be looking.
