hey fellas. im trying to set up a meet for ocean city's car show weekend. id like to drive down on a friday or satuday, from baltimore to OC. i was talking with the dcevo clubs guy on here a little bit ago, but thought i would toss this thread up now so people can plan in advance.

the dates of the show are the 11th and 12th of june. how kick *** would it be to get all these evos and sti's and srt'4s and everything and roll down into coastal highway as one HUGE group.... hell if we get enough people maybe we can all chip in and purchase a spot outside the car show and get a police escort through the city to the convention center... how ****ing kool would that be?!?!?!?

anywayz, im gonna need some help getting all this togather and keeping track of who all is going is prolly going to take some time to... so i ask all of u to spread the word to EVERYONE... someone make a post on the srt4 boards, the club3g boards, the dcevo boards etc. and keep track of who signs up and send me the lists every month or so would be a huge help!!!

also, maybe when we have our sspring meet maybe we can accept donations or something to help us all pay for this if we all decide that is what we want to do...

i dunno guys, if ur interested, sign up, gimme some ideas, and help me out!!

Hey man most defenitely. I went last year with my 2000 eclipse and 5 buddies that owned eclipses also. We all showed together and cruised after the show closed...talk about attracting attention. Cruising with evo's would be much better...im down man...ill put my vacation days in asap. Do you want to leave down that friday...day or night? If we plan on staying in hotels we will defenitely need to make arrangements right now. Hotel prices will sky rocket if we don't have reservations. Admins could this be a sticky...

I'm going down for the car show anyway. We could roll down together. 2 or 3 evos are better than one.

I'd have to run it by my wife but my aunt lives in OC so cost isn't a concern for me. A week later We're probably going to be flying to Thailand and maybe Japan so Its probably good timing. I don't think it will be too hard to convince the wife but I can't get a definite answer until we're much closer to June. I'd say the chances of me going are about 65% realistically.

 

I might be in, I live out in Finksburg, Carroll County. It would be awesome to have all those EVO's together, as long as it doesn't rain that weekend.

well the cost of a hotel will be cut down if 4 or more people stay in a room. hell who is going to be sleeping anyways...well i defenitely want to go...guess when the time comes well consider a meeting place thats logical for everyone. do you want this drive to be specifically for evo's only or have some sti's...mmmm. will most likely be taking girl friend if you guys don't mind.

id like a whole crapload of cars. evos, stis, srts, whatever we can get. lets show everyone theres no car racisism and lets have an awesome drive down!

 

I might be able to get another evo and a WRX to come down too.

 

Keep in mind that there's a good deal of Regular Lancers in this area. If Rally Red is organzing it then it goes without saying that everyone is invited. I'm really going to push to go. I don't see why I can't but its hard to get a definite when its so far off.

 

I will be down there that weekend look out for a rally red w/ bronze volk SE37Ks would be cool to meet some other evo people.

Id be interested as hell if you guys wanna meet me on the eastern shore somewhere i live in dorchester county and well.... lets say theres not many other people arund here to talk evos with. I go to this show every yr and stay down there. Im less than a hour a way if some guys would wanna roll back my way one of the nights and stay instead of spending money both nights for a room id be cool with that. THAT way we could roll down as a group twice Or i know all the good bars and clubs over there but deffently gotta hop the bus then. Just lemme know and keep me updated cuz getting up with some new ppl that share my same interest in evos would rock. Im doin a bounch of mods this weekend so i will deff. be ready for the weeknd.
