Anyone know a lawyer in Northern VA?
Clutch installed last week. Right after the clutch install, I noticed very notchy shifting and hard to put in gear etc. I called the shop immediately as I was driving the car home to inform them about this. They told me it takes awhile for the clutch to break in and that it would get better. Well thigns were not getting better, so I took it back to the shop that did the install and they made an adjustment on the clutch. Well things only got worse when they did that. Now the tranny/transfer case makes a howling sound and it is still hard to get in gears. Turns out the shop used redline products instead of using Mitsubishi oils, which may or may not have anything to do with this. As I write this, the car is awaiting fresh Diaqeen lubricants, which will be put in the tranny and transfer case to see if this fixes the problems. I'm just worried that it may be too late and my gears could be scratched and the noise and notchiness won't go away. Worst case scenario I'll need a new transfer case/tranny, which costs 1000's and I can't afford to fix a problem that I didn't create.

Reason I'm asking about a lawyer is because I may have to contact one if it looks like the bill starts to fall on me.

I just hope it doesn't come down to calling the consumer protection division

A very reputable performance shop that I trust and would like to continue to trust.
