Friday night bump

 

Aw man, bad news. I thought I had made everything perfectly clear, but apparently there was a large amount of miscommunication regarding the time of the event on my wife's end. To make a long story short, I can't go. I'm really sorry. I'll try to be at the next meet.

Have fun tomorrow. Wish I was there.

 

Not a problem man, there will be plenty of meets this summer. I am trying to am for meet atleast once a month, and a few big events thrown in the mix like car shows, or a party/cook out.

 

Okay, I just stayed up last night talking with my wife and I think we reached a sort of compromise. I might be able to meet up at the park and ride but hooters is out for me. I'll hopefully see you guys there.

Had fun hanging out with you guys today. I liked the route that we took. Some great empty back roads. I got lost on 40 but it couldn't be helped.

I spent the day dremeling out those stupid louvers out of my grill. Its my first time doing any sort of bondo work but Its getting there. I probably gotta sand it some more and put more coats of paint in. That dremel cutoff wheel hacks the crap outta plastic so I had alot of repair work to do. Should look like the Evo grill when I'm done. Not that I'm trying to go for the evo look, I just hate those plastic slats, y'know. I'll show it to you guys when I'm done.

 

let's have some bbq on the next meet! beef,chicken and pork bbq what do you think guys gonna bring some. just make sure you have the grill. nice to meet you shiroboi, and the rest of the guy's

 

Same here. It was nice meeting other Evos around the area. Oh...Will someone get the pics up or email it to me? I didn't take any pics.

Yeah, it was great meeting everybody. BTW, I got my new mesh grill in and it looks soooo much better. Yay. Gonna bug the wife for a CAI next.

 

Good times I went back to White Marsh mall and it turns out another EVO showed up from Westiminster. He got there after 2:00 PM, luckly he had other things to do while he was down here, so I don't feel as bad. I think his name was Tommy (not sure of his name on the boards) has a really nice 03 Black evo. The only reason I know he showed up is because we passed each other while driving around the mall, we stopped and talked for a bit, cool guy , hope he comes out to the next meet.

I definelty think the next meet will be sometype of BBQ/ Picnic get together. I'll start planning that in the next week or two. Maybe we could do it the weekend before Memorial day, suggestions ... ideas?

I was thinking we could have it at a local park near me or near White Marsh, that way I can get a grill there if we need to....

we did a bbq last year, which i started basically, lol... lets do it again, somewhere closer this time though.... it was great, i think it turned out awesome! food was great, we threw the football around etc. id love to go somewhere were we could throw the football, bring some baseballs and bats and play some baseball if possible, or softball etc.
