OT but need help from NoVa peeps
I'm coming up to DC for a Nationals game and was wondering which is the best plan of attack: 1) stop in Springfield and take the metro to the stadium, or 2) just drive in and park at RFK. The game is a 1pm start so it will probably end right when rush hour begins...so, will the metro cut down on traffic leaving from Springfield even though it is a 40 minute ride just to get from RFK to the Springfield station after the game? It is a Thursday game so avoiding rush hour is not gonna be possible unless we BS around afterwards (friends won't want to, though).
I'm guessing that parking at the stadium will cost at least $10-15 and taking the metro is around $3 per person but will it really help us get out of NoVa faster after the game. Oh yeah, we're coming up from Richmond.
One more thing...how hard is the Springfield station to find from I-95, too?
Thanks in advance,
EvoLee

Yeah, there's no really "good" way. I'll say it's a lot easier to take the metro because (even though it's crowded) you really don't have to worry about anything. You just get on, stand there and then get off. Driving you gotta fight traffic, find the place, find parking, etc... Just my $.02
