Vroompsh, good to meet you man. I definitely wanna see your vid. I have some good video footage that I'm trying to get online. I've already uploaded one I edited onto Streetfire last night, but it's not up yet, and it's too big to put on the other places I normally use (15mb). I'm curious to see it from a different angle. How are you planning on hosting it?

yea guys....the life of a military man. i stuck with duty all this weekend and i am getting F-ed in the aras again this weekend with duty. but hey.....i get the next month an half duty free. ill be the b-more area friday night if theres anything goin on friday night let me know

The car handeled great. I couldn't keep up with the Evos but it still took the curves really well.

It's unfortunate that we seperated, I thought you guys all dipped out. Where did you guys come into the park at? We came at the lower entrance.

Me and my girlfriend left the other group, because I promised her a picnic... But we had a great time. Right after leaving, and I mean right after, we passed a cop. Later Frank/N1te told me that they were all pulled over and told the speed limit. I tried to call and tell him that there was a cop but the combo of mountians and Verizon = jack as far as reception.

I had a blast. Oh and MadMsheen, my girlfriend thinks your kids are adorable... she said, "when we have kids I wanna put them in the back of our Evo..." I guess that means I'm getting and Evo at some point...

We came in at the 211 entrance, headed down the south fork, then went back through to the end of the north fork. There was alot of "whheeeees and whoooooaaas" coming from the back of the MR. We were following a silver, unmodded civic most of the time, so it was fairly tame. But even a tame drive can be fun on the Skyline twisties.

Pure Evo, where's that vid, buddy? All We'll Drive had a camera too. I hope it was rolling.

Great video man! BTW - You forgot to mention I weigh 254lbs and my lady (I can't say her weight ) + picnic basket +12 cans of soda + trunk full of tools + 2 gallons of water + one dead body in the back (just kiddin about that last one)! Anyways, that evo is a beast. Good run Steve and good job on the editing. I didn't know you can direct, edit and drive all at the same time!

 

Ha - at least you're in the country. I wanted to come too but I'm still stuck in the Middle East until next month. I'll prolly be at the Whitemarsh meet. Good on you tho - it looked like a real good time.

 

Steve, cool vid. I had some decent footage until my camera mount swung loose because I forgot to tighten 1 measley peice. I was happy with the footage I got though while it was secure, the shot stayed surprisingly steady.

I had a great time, even though we got seperated from the group it was a great day hanging out with Gem and his lady, Seyla and Sandy and the kids, we definately have to have another cruise day sometime.

On my way down 211 there was a cop watching a tow truck put a bike on the back, the biker was sitting in the grass on the side of the road. Wasnt sure if he fell, ran out of gas, or was getting his bike impounded....sucks.
