what do you mean? "absolutly no fun", EVOs are great out of the box. I'm sure your mods will make it that much better, but the stock performance of this car is a phenomenal basis to begin with

Absolutely no secrets.

Our goal for this car is simple - we want to build a "well-rounded" Evo that is capable of handling track events and light drag strip. Because it's a display car for customers, we won't have a custom turbo or anything that cannot be bought off the shelf so to speak. We are going for function at first. In essence, you will be able to take a test drive in this car and decide whether certain mods make sense to you - and feel the difference that some mods make.

As far as suspension goes, we are running JIC A2 coilovers; the exhaust will be made up of DC Sports Downpipe & Cat Delete, Catback will be the upcoming "Gram Lights Dragon". Factory coolant hoses will be replaced with Samco; while the radiator will be replaced with a polished Koyo.

The engine / head will most likely be running upgraded HKS 280 camshafts, new HKS cam gears pulled along by a Greddy or Power-Enterprise timing belt, fastened by ARP studs.

The interior will not be left stock, ie. Major roll-cage and etc.

The purpose of the car is not to break records but rather show people what can be done to their Evo so they can see/drive the car and pick out the parts for their Evo, see things in action and installed.

I think a v8 with twin tubas- 2000 hp would be good .... with stickers. JJ - we will see how the new evo turns out...

That's one of the best ideas from a shop I've heard. Every part I've personally purchased is because I've seen or driven it on someone's car, and I've let people drive my car which has convinced them to do certain mods. Actually, I was dead set on the STi until I actually drove an Evo.

I gotta take a picture of this car that's down here in Vienna... it's like an old faded super beater green 70's "semi-muscle" car and it has a huge APC sticker on the back window. It's really hilarious...

Just want to let everyone know that I had camshafts installed at AMStuning today along with a fuel pump and brake job. Mike and Corey did a very nice job and are the most courteous people you will ever meet. I love their shop dog Butch also but I think he needs to go on a diet :-)

I wish these guys the very best but I think their commitment to service will take them a long way.
