word, is he going to have that done by import vs. domestic at mir; assuming he is going he might stand a decent chance.

everything but new turbo/injectors will be done, which is what i was referring to. and, we raced last night (both of us untuned- me with dp and RICH cobb stg 2 reflash, and him with lightened flywheel, cai, 3 inch tbe and no reflash) and he pulled on me pretty hard from 4th gear 3 diff times. I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY TUNE!

I hear ya, I guess the tbe exhaust makes a big difference for yals car to. If you dont mind me asking what made you choose the re-flash over a piggy-back like utec or vishnu xede?

a couple reasons. the most obvious one for me, given that i am impatient, is that i didn't know at the time of a trustworthy mid-a tuner and i didn't have the $ for a tune in the foreseeable future+ i was afraid of driving a long way, getting a tune, having something go wrong, and being 100s of miles away from potential troubleshooting. also, i heard many good things about cobb re: customer service, performance following accessport re-flash, and, most importantly (for me) safety of the parameters (running rich vs. lean, etc.). now that the protuner is available (similar to utec tuning capabilities), I'm stoked, because I should be able to extract significantly more power from my existing setup.

I see that makes sense. I meet a yellow evo this past friday night that had a sticker in the rear window(I think it said "kamikaze"); though I did not ask him if he was from the beach or not. I am sure if he is on here and feels like posting he will post up. The one guy I meet said he was stock though; but there can only be so many yellow evos around.

for anyone interested, the dyno plots are on nasioc's mid atlantic impreza club forum.

Any non- evo drivers left?

Terry here I drive a thunder gray 02 Lancer oz in vabch. I have seen the silver evo w/ the cf hood, if it's the same one that was in the seven cities scion show in chesapeake, the owner would do well to steer clear of scs for awhile. Been looking for some non-evo lancers to roll with, I don't really like the evo8 all that much, everything is already done to it and I prefer the build up of a car.
