It is funny how our cars make 50hp difference - 700whp (Chris #1), 750whp (me), and 800whp (Chris#2)
And they are VIII, IX, and X.

well now, thats the last time i let her drive the car. and its not like its her first time driving but it sure as hell seemed to be.
she starts off, almost stalls it, goes 10 feet into a parking spot. she turns off the car to "get used to the gears again" even though its the only manual shes ever touched.
left it in gear when she shut it off, decides hey lets just throw it in neutral no clutch included.
then after 'practicing' she wants to go forward over the bumps on top of lynnhaven mall's garage. uh no. back up and try, car moves 2 feet, almost stalls if i hadnt told her clutch. and again another 2 feet b4 almost stalling. puts it in first, almost stalls.
"baby what am i doing wrong"
'uh, you're not giving it gas'
obv shes not giving it gas if its stalling. so she decides to drive it 20 feet and park the car to go home.
she effing screwed something over because you can hear something that wasnt there before when decelerating, and it looked like the lights werent as bright anymore, yes the dial was turned up 100%. glad i got to waste half hour of my life and gas. guess the car will be going long-term storage while im gone rather than her taking care of it. not to mention forgetting about getting her power of attorney while im on deployment thx to the way shes been acting.

that is why I never even considered teaching my wife to drive a manual when I had my VIII, didn't want the car destroyed. heck my wife never drives the X either, which is fine with me as well lol. some people just don't understand lol.
I really wish I didn't work weekends, so I could be out and about during the evenings, frickin BS I tell ya. but if Spec Ops comes up, i am probably coming over for a bit, just to hang out.

Just in case you guys dont know. Long Shots is putting on a track rental for the 29th of Apr at Virginia Motorsports. Its gonna cost $125 per driver. So i assume spectators are free. I will know more after i email the guy. I plan on renting a truck and trailer for my car to take it up there and anyone who wants to tag along can. Yes i will be driving the RS at least once before i sell it to shut up some haters. If any of you guys who wanna go need to put some tools in the truck or some jacks let me know when we get closer to the date. Or even extra cans of E85 (Myself,Chris,Mikey). Not sure if you guys wanna go up thurs night depending on what time it starts friday and all. I would prolly wanna go thurs night and stay friday cuz i know me after a day of racing i am beat.

Here is the skinny... things don't start until Mike gets there. So, I drove up with them on Friday morning when the last event happened. We met up at long shots and caravaned out there, though we left late, and probably got there around 1000ish. Tech doesn't start until he gives his speal either. I am going to run my chit when my Chief gets back from leave next week... but you can pretty much count me in.
On tidewater racing, when he met with VMP earlier in the year, they mentioned having E85 at the track available on the day of the rental, though I guess it would be best to have our own just in case.
