hello all.. young and old. still waiting for them to finish up the springs/cams etc install so figured i would get on here and let everybody know i had the privilege to have the first ride in mikeys car since i helped him install mostly everything lol but unfortunately it was only on 20 pounds so i told him it didnt count.. he agreed. i kept trying to get him to turn it all the way up and race somebody, or anybody that we saw but he was scared but anyway the car felt pretty good on 20psi but cant wait to bust some eardrums with his dump he said if i posted this he would talk **** about me but figured he was going to anyway so it doesnt matter, and since hes not a mod anymore he cant delete it! haha

I just read that the Senate isn't approving the continuation of the E85 subsidizing, so now it looks like I'm just going to tune the car for 100 octane.

This actually makes me happy, because I won't have to buy bigger injectors, and the price-per-MPG will now be about the same for E85 or 100 octane.

Ok so I might have an issue. I got in the car today to head to church for fathers day and the car was running weird. When I drove the mile to my church and parked it, it had a idle as if I had cams which I don't. It never did this before today so it worries me. I called my buddy and left him a voice mail of the car at idle and he said it sounded like I had cams. Well since I don't have them he sad it might be a boost leak. I saw on the forums how to do a leak check but I don't have the stuff to make one and I also don't want to mess anything up. I'm hopeing with the great knowledge of the people in this area, someone could help me out. It would calm my nerves so much. Please help!

Well I have a boost leak tester if you want to bring it by. I'm just out working on my car trying to start it today for the first time in a few months. I'll pm you my number. I live in northwest portsmouth.

Check the hoses that go to your EGR to see if one popped off. They are right below the throttle body and there is 2 nipples with hoses on the egr. Check those first.
