So anyone got any advice on how to drive at the strip? Just finished my first time and...It was kinda sad. My best ET and MPH are below.

12.63 @ 112.14 with a 1.88 60'
or a 13.11 @ 115.8 with a 2.15 60'

 

so looks like im going to need a new head.. anybody wouldnt happen to have one laying around huh? lol the evos going to be down for a while fml

 

first off, your launches need lots of practice....

second, your MPH does not match your power listed in your signature... unless you eat a sandwich while shifting between gears. I was trapping 115 with 300whp and a heavier car...

I probably cost the car some time shifting, still dont have the hang of the new clutch. Also going to do a boost leak check next week. Wondering if thats an issue.

I would definitely take a look for a boost leak and take a good look over the car. Typically a trap speed takes the driver out of the equation (for the most part).
