i was reading thru some threads and noticed that some of you do installs along w/some friends. i am planning on buying an evo soon and have been searching the forums but still have questions unanswered. I just sold my '02 z06 that recently ran a low 11 in the 1/4 mile and am looking for a daily driver that will run mid 12's.

price is important because i am looking to upgrade from a townhome in kingstowne to a home in mclean. I was wondering what input you could give me on buying a low mileage '03/'04 vs an '05 evo. is the difference in price really worth it? i don't care about extra handling capabilities as I track my cars often and will figure out the control issues quickly. can you also tell me how much you would charge to install cams, I will help of course. I have installed/built honda turbo engines and done tons of fi systems in chevy's and fords, but never mitsus. i have all tools including a compressor and air tools.
