you guys have to realize that 90% of the tuner market is about this. Us evo owners are a small percentage of the aftermarket with hard to find jdm parts and shops specifically for evo tuning/parts.

A local member went to see the first one with his NSX club, and they hired 2 security guards to watch their cars all night in the garage

A lot of the drift stunts were done by Rhys Millen.
You should all feel special since he used to be on this forum.

I will go see it.. I'll bring either my civic or evo.. but they both get attentions from cops (especially my rice rocket civic LOL).. I will probably drive my mom's SUV if she lets me... if not.. I'd rather drive my EVO!

It will be sooo dumb if I see people drifting in parking lot that night...

i've been here in japan for the last week and i've only seen one car that was riced out, and it was sweet as hell. If anything the regular cars and vans are riced the hell out from the factory. Seriously everything here has at least a small wing plus a front or rear bumper that has aerodynamic ducts. I'm going to take a lot of pictures of average cars, so everyone can see what i'm talking about.

import as in honda. you know what i mean.
I'd like to see a cop pull me over in a 1990 mazda pickup. (Knock on wood)

Cop: Excuse me, License and registration
Me: Sure thing offier, did I do anything wrong.
Cop: I saw you drifting back there, pop the hood please
*******looks at engine*********
Cop: That looks like a B18 engine that has a NOS setup to it. I'll have to impound your 1990 Mazda pickup, that's rear wheel drive with a front wheel drive based engine.
What do you have to say for yourself
Me: I live my life drifting a corner at a time. For that few seconds I have to be out of control to be in control!!

Millen does alot of the stunts... He is the one that drifts the car on the ramp, and I believe the EVO on the touge. Millen did state that the nicest of the cars to drive was the EVO... lol My friend told me tonight that the The Pink S2000 actually is faster than the skyline from 2fast lol crazy!!!

Just saw the HBO behind the scenes, and it seems that there will be NO digital effects used... It looks like it is going to pay HOMAGE to Drifting... They even talk a lil bout the history...
