I am in the planning stage of doing a bbq. As of now, I have not set a date. There is a problem. To rent a pavillion at a state park, it cost $200 now. Last time it was $50. I need three people to chip in $50. PM me if you are willing to help.

Also, I don't want to have food problem. Last time, I had people say they would bring stuff (chicken and hamburgers), some did, other fell through. Please, if you say you are going to bring something, please do so.

As soon as I get the money situation straight, I will set a date.

Last time, it was an alcohol free meet because we had underage people attending. It will be that way this time also.

I am planning to have this meet at Gunpowder State Park, either at Hammerman or Dundee Creek Marina.

Here is a list of stuff we will need.

Chicken
Hamburgers
Hot dogs or sausage
Buns and rolls
Chips
Soda and water
Potato salad
cole slaw
coolers with ice
Condiments
forks, spoons, and knives
paper plates
cups
And anything else that you can think of.

 

I'll chip in the $50 for the pavillion and bring the plastic knives, forks, spoons. Also the plates, cups, and napkins. Kurt put me down for these things.

P.s. Make sure this is on a sunday or I can't go. also Some important dates coming up 8/25 - 8/27 is the Evo Vs. Sti shootout at raceway park and 9/9 - 9/10 is the Formula drift at englishtown

 

Everyone who comes should just bring $5...... shouldn't be put down on 3 ppl. If only 40 ppl came... that would be $200 right there. Just a thought. Anyways I can bring a lot of the stuff needed and some extras Def has to be on a Sunday... Helps owning a grocery store Anyways I'll keep checking back.... who's cooking?? lol

 

I need the money at the time I rent the pavillion. I will be chipping $50 and bringing a few things. I think that admission will be charged to make up some of the money that is paid towards the pavillion.

 

Also, I am aiming towards having this the middle of August before the dates that were mentioned.

 

This sounds like a good time! I am interested in coming and I can either bring food or $5-10. For those who are going the DSMshootout is August 12t and 13th.

 

I can probably bring most of the stuff... lol I have the chicken and ground beef (or patties) hot dogs... mac salad/potato salad and whatever. Everyone should just bring a covered dish or something. Where is it exactly so I can look it up since it's probably gonna be far for me.. lol

Holy crap... just checked mapquest it says almost 2hrs from me... lol That's alright.. it'll be worth it. If you can make it start 11-12 like last time Kurt that would be great.. since we have to get there early and set up and stuff.
