they did that to be nice to me since a couple days after i got my evo, i ended up blowing off my throttle body clamp 2-3 times - first time, i had to get it towed because i was in the middle of nowhere

That happened to me too. Mine was due to the piping hitting the positive terminal cover on the battery and levering itself off. Moved the battery and hasn't happened since.

I like my evo but i have noticed the quality of it is not so great. For example the gap between the interior door and dash is huge. Also my camber in the front is very neg. I have worn out the inside of my tires at 7k miles and I had them rotated at 4k. Maybe i should go to the dealer and have them look at it.

yea, i had to get an all wheel alignment because all 4 of my tires had a bad camber, but it may be correct.... although, for the stock tires, it was a little much and they disappeared like they didn't even exist.

and about the throttle body clamp, i went to advanced and got a regular hose clamp, haven't had that problem since and of course, the cover on my positive terminal is off everytime i pop my hood lol

Are you guys trying to scare me.... lol j/k I think we all know the Evo wasn't built for luxury.... practicality.... or anything else like that... so it's expected when we buy it The car is all cleaned up so I'm very excited to go inspect it today and see if i can find any imperfections... and whoever meets me at AEX on SUnday can look for me too since Mitsu is RIGHT NEXT to AEX... lol

Awww thank you i like to think I'm tasteful... but that's a matter of opinion.. lol I will def give you a ride... just make sure to bring your helmet... body suit... and neck brace since you always act like I'm giving you whip lash... LOL

I agree. I just wish it came with a better sound system or cup holders further away from the stick shift.

^ hahahahaha That's so funny! I hate having sodas in the holder and everytime I shift I hit it... although when I'm just cruising in a gear I do rest my elbow on it 'cause my arm won't reach the arm rest... lol
