nah, tires aren't overrated.. only reason I'm not bothering with the swap yet is cause mine are not really all that bad. Plus, more importantly, my car is about to be covered and stored for the winter anyway I'm more likely to put new tires on my daily driver first.

WHO'S TIRES HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING AT?!?!? you're tires are pretty bad, 3.
Good point about the storing the car away soon...BUT when you bring it back out in the spring... Tires should be one of the first things you think about... AND you'll have all winter to find good ones, and put the money away for them!

ona side note, i wish i had 2 cars... so i can "store" one away in the winter time, rather than just wanting to store mine away FOR GOOD ... one day... one day...

Definitely... if I can keep the car off the road the whole winter, i can spend a bit more for good dry traction tires come spring. The money ... for the most part ... has already been put aside for that. Bar no unexpected merging with the Japan trip fund of course As for you having two cars, theoretically, you could keep the car you have now even after you get the Mini - or other new car. Not really sure why you would though Perhaps to go on the occasional road rampage? Perhaps mo down some mail boxes?

i dont know that my car could handle mowing down anything.. it would probably be more damage to my car than anything... Its not built for that stuff. Actually i'm not sure what it's built for!?!?!?

It is nice to have the weekend to look forward to. I don't miss the days when i had to work on weekends...no fun at all. I feel your pain, Gennie!
Work is crazy today we have like 23978928392 things going on at once and everyone keeps handing me stuff to take care of...*sigh* ah, work!

Anyone heard from Prin today? He's not on AIM, and not on here yet....weird
