ok, so i called up ams and they dont wanna mess with the piggyback. ISP says they would rather try and reflash the original ecu. thats great but...no one has yet to do that successfully for the ralliart. hill from agile auto is the only one so far that is willing to tune my piggy.

not sure what to do... times like these makes me wish i had an evo

extreme is very pricey.sean seems to think hes better then alot of tuners out there, last time i went there for a intake he saw that i was tuned else where and started talking ****.. stay away.

these shops are alot better and i mean alot better:
isp racing- peter is the ****, i trust him with my car anyday the week.period
vip garage- i heard some really good things about these guys
ams(gathersburg)-same as above, really good things
there are more shops out there but these ones come to my mind when i need work done. Just stay with out vendors and iaam sure they will take care of you.

I only deal with VIP Garage but they are far away and they don't tune cars, Al from Dynoflash will stop by 3 or 4 times every couple months

I don't know what kind of mods you have but if you had a Wideband and a data logger you might be able to tune it yourself.

I'm one of the few Evo owners left that still use an SAFC for tuning and I have a Zeitronix Wideband set-up with logger capabilities, along with that I have a blitz power meter to use as a guide to see if I'm actually gaining horsepower when I change my settings. One day I'll upgrade to a flash!

If ISP can re-flash your ECU then I probably go with that if that is the closest to a tune you'll get. Do a baseline and compare the numbers after the that!

Good Luck!

Agile is pretty good if you have a subie. I used to take my Sti there.

AMS is better suited for what you need. Great customer service and fast pace work from Corey and his crew and Mike could tune your ride no problems

Je

Hey my buddy has had 20g's worth of engine building done there. They had his car 6 months and when he got it back he only had it 6 weeks and the engine rebuild blew. When he took it back for repair they quoted him another 800 for some rods and rings or something minor. But when he went to pick it up the price was like 2000!wtf. They found more problems in the car and neglected to tell him about them and just fixed it without asking. We went to pick it up with the 800 and were shocked to hear of the new price. you dont quote someone then raise the price without telling them. we got the po po down there cause it was getting ugly and cop made him give up the keys for the 800 origanally agreed price. By the way the engine is blown again. I don't recommend JE.

Mid-atlantic is a much better shop now Because they fired some poeple that were really bringing them down, I've never delt with them but I know alot of people that do. I would recommend to anyone with a nissan or honda, I'm not sure if they have enough experience with Mitsubishi's but I know the owner and he is pretty happy to take on anything new! Also I know they are backed up for a couple of months.
