Ok, change of plans for me. I will now be in Norfolk as of 15 Aug until around 10 Sep. If you guys are going to do this, someone give me a call and fill me in a couple of days in advance. I won't have internet access the whole time I am there, so it will have to be from a phone call to me.

Chris, since i have your number already, I'll probably just call you from time to time and find out what is going on. We also have to set up the drive to MAch V for the open house.

the other plan was just to have it at Lynnhaven mall parking by the way.......... the only downside(s) to that was:
1) we can't restict it to evo\lancer owners only.. since there will be TONS of other people with modded cars at lynnhaven mall.. like always
and
2) it would be talk of the town and a public view spectical all day long... i dunno if you all would like that or not -- but i was thinking if to many people started crowding around the mall would get pissed and start buggin us about being there

i still think the top of the town center parking garage is a good place though -- its basically away from public eyes also -- anyways, please share your thoughts

just thought of another advantage to having it at the top of the parking garage ----- its extremly easy to get to from where ever you live! ---- if this does go through, i imagine we can get directions for anyone that needs them -- if your wondering where exactly it is, check out Virginia Beach Blvd (or Independence Blvd) on maps.com or something -- those are the two major roads around it ---

We went to the top of the garage (9th floor) and took some pics so that people could judge the size. It's pretty secluded up there and was empty (we were there ~3:30-4PM on Sat.)

Also, What time were we lookin at? I was thinkin more afternoon, 3-4 ish, but since someone suggested Lynnhaven, maybe others are thinkin later (since lynnhaven would be packed until after the mall is closed)

 

Afternoon would be good. Somebody set a freak'n date before it gets to cold to be standing around outside.

 

How about Saturday the 20th? We could meet around 3 at the garage, hang out there for 30min-1 hour (or longer if people are interested, then cruise to get some food (Sonic woudl be cool...). I'd suggest the 13th, but I think everybody should have time to plan. Meet, greet, eat, anything else? Plan for a couple hours, say 3-5. What do you guys think?

 

I would love to meet up with everybody, but unfortunately I have to work on Saturdays. Maybe one day in my life I'll be able to make one of these big meets.
