Peter Lee at ISP is awesome. They have hosted dyno days for our car club in College Park and are always nice as hell. Had some badass cars in his shop too so he does great work.

extreme is a very good shop, the owner sean had many sick dsms including an 8 second talon before john shep was even heard of. I talked to sean, he doesnt really like messing with cars that are junk thats why he frowns at alot of people who come in the shop. most of the people that say extreme is a bad place to get work done have never gotten work done from there. Every shop has a horror story i dont care what shop it is. You can never please everyone. Sean is currently building two of my friends cars. a gt42 awd talon. and a brian crower stroked gt35r 240sx. sick cars. But as far as prices i have seen exspensive tuning and slow production i heard from a guy that worked there their backed up for weeks. but everycar i seen with work from there has performed and outlasted.

As far as local shops in the MD area

thanks guys for you help, ill talk to ISP, AMS, and VIP and see who will give me the best price. i might think about one of them just building me a custom kit instead of buying all the parts myself but im not sure yet.

I had some work done @ Extreme when I had a GST years ago however was extremely not happy. I have had work done on my evo at ams and my girl has had work done on her evo at vip. We both have been happy with the level of service provided by shops.

i only remember ONE customer from bel air which had prob with our install. one of techs we had (which no longer work with us) forgot to install rear trans bolt. this does not damage the trans but makes noise while engine was under load. when his parents came by the shop for us to check out the prob i took the car for a test drive and diagnose the problem. that day we fixed the prob so i thought he was happy.im sorry to hear that he didnt have good experience with us but we try our best to make anyone happy as possible. people do make mistakes but i believe its how they fix the prob that also matters
