Silver Evo on 28N

Dunno if you're here, but I gave you a thumbs up on my way to work this morning when I caught you on 28N. Your plate was "CT9A" - pretty good one! How early did you have to reserve that plate?

back at you.

Not so early, I just checked -- May 29th. Of course there are a couple dozen people in Fairfax County that actually know what that plate means. I first thought I wanted 4G63, but that could be any Eclipse, and probably is -- it was already taken.

I'm usually not in that area much, but I was dropping off my race tires and wheels at Ultimate Performance to be mounted.

I saw a red Evo headed down I-81 yesterday on my way up. I am driving a blue Evo in Herndon/Reston area, btw. Probably the only one with Cali plates... LOL

How does No. VA police deal with tint? I have 20% right now and I don't want to get zinged...

I believe the legal limit is 50 up front and 35 in the back... I know a lot of people who run 35 all around and seem to get away with it. 20 might seem a little high?

Oh well, I guess I'll take my chances. It's a fix-it ticket, right?

If I do get hit, I think I'll just get that Mercedes blue tint all around. It's pretty cool and subtle.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. My friend might be getting a group buy on a tint soon though, and I think I'm gonna take my chances with 35 all around.
