Yeah...i have seen this silver EVO many times as well, parked in various spots around Ballston.

The silver ballston guy ould be me. My gf works right on fairfax drive, and I'll usually pick her up once a week or so, or hang out around there for dinner or soemthing.

Chris, I was looking in the area for an apt. If you want to live in the ballston area, be prepared to pay quite a bit. But I've been looking for the past few months in the alexandria/ springfield area, so i know of a few good places. pm me with what and where you're looking for, maybe i can give you some ideas.

You're a few weeks too late. We were renting out our upstairs room (with its own bathroom) for a mere 700 bucks.

We could have had two Evos and a 350Z in our driveway.

actually nope, i dont think that was me.. i was in springfeild area last fri night, not ballston.. mine has evolutionm.net decals under the rear doors. and i have a scuff on the front bumper bottom lip. damn gravel roads

 

LOL. I understand what you mean. I moved here from NYC a year ago. For that reason I lived in NW DC during my first year, but then we realized that you get a lot more for you $ in NoVA than in DC. I would stick around the Rosslyn-Clarendon- Ballston corridor, if you're looking for "faster pace." This area is pretty cool actually Rent will be a bit more than other places in VA, but still a lot cheaper than Huntigton Beach (or NYC in my case)

 

That's really funny. I live right next door to Rio Grande - Windsor Plaza bldg. You probaly walk right by my place (and car) all the time. I am outta town on vacation now, so maybe you can check on my car and see how she is doing

 

A bit off-topic, but is anybody interested in going to a HPDE at the Poconos Raceway on Sept 14th? It's organized by EMRA (www.emraracing.org). The cool thing about this event is that you get to do timed laps at the end of the day. From what I understand, you first drive 3 sessions, 20 minutes each with an instructor and then drive solo 4th session which is timed.

I was considering going up myself, so let me know if you're interested and we could go up together (3.5hrs drive).
