Hey EVO obsessed out there...anyone know of any places within decent distance from north jersey to tune my evo VIII and install a few parts that has a good reputation??? any ideas?

PS I know Turbo Trix in Edison but I don't feel like waiting and spending what they want

So here's the verdict...why didn't it go in my favor?

Mods already had:
3'' full exhaust w/down pipe (Stock cat )
ACT clutch
AEM short ram intake

then had:
boost controller put on 23lbs.
boost/egt gauges
ecu reflah + tune

verdict 289 whp 292 torque...why am I not around 320-340???

 

the only thing in your mod list giving u power is the exhaust, intake, and boost controller. And you have an 8. who tuned the car?

combination of parts makes all the difference.

 

You should make at least 300whp with those mods IMO

The OEM cat is one problem. Get a Perrin 3" HF cat and you will be happily surprised.

I am very pleased with mine. Makes it sound more aggressive, too.

Also, have you considered a bigger FMIC & piping? That would help, too.
