Yeah, that is what we were talking about Josh. The only problem is that I just found out that I won't be getting back from TDY in Cali till around the 17th. So it will have to be in the end of the month. My wife won't dig it if as soon as i get back from being gone for 2 months i want us to take off with a bunch of car people. She still gives me sh** for it. "Your not 17 any more Linwood" is what I hear all the time. So let me talk to her, and we will get a hard date, and do some good planning. I just found out how to connect to the internet with my Government Cell phone, so I am good to go now...LOL

Sounds like a plan. I was hoping you weren't planning it the same weekend as the shootout. As much fun as the Dragon would be I can't miss the shootout! I've got friends from all over the country coming up there! LOL Maybe a little later in the year would be better anyhow so it gets a little cooler instead of the blistering heat! Let me know and keep me updated.

So I get back from the field on the 11th. I have a 4 day the weekend of the 18th, but you should all know already that, that weekend is devoted to my wife and family. The following weekend (22nd-24th) is a good possibility. Drive over on Friday evening and drive back on Sunday morning. Anyone cool with that?

Winter is not the ideal time - it can snow. Plus summer tires + cold temps + curvy roads = driving off a cliff.

I'd have to agree with this statement...

I'd be interested in that drive in say... March/April
