Unhappy Help! Car Broken Into!!!

let me start of by saying people that steal deserve to get their hands chopped off.

ok heres the story, I am having a bad week with my car. it all stared when i hit a curb(my fault) so i took my evo into MR.TIRE in rt.40 in Ellicott city md. the one right next to crab shanty.

well ok so i am waiting for new wheels and tires to come in and i go there today to pick my car up and then WHAM.....

the guy at the counter tells me hey your head units missing out of your car. im stanging there like ummmm. i didnt take it out...

then they try to tell me that i went back into my car eariler on in the week to get some stuff out... when i havent been back there for the entire time my car has been there. so im like ok i jsut want my car back i know radios get stolen all the time big woop right?

so i get out there and start the car.... starts running like ****, i'm like WTF i look in the glove compartment and MY FREAKING SAFC2 AND GREDDY PROFEC boost controller are gone!!!!

now my car runs like **** and i dont know what to do suggestions for a saddenend evo owner?

wow. If that was me i would've been pissed off. Shouldn't they have called you to tell you that stuff was stolen?

I mean there is nothing for you can do except get the parts again? Or get it tuned without the parts

That sucks man. Do they have some kind of insurance that covers stolen property?

Also, I don't want to sound like a d*** but why didn't you leave just the wheel with them instead of the whole car?

If it's in their hands the time it got stolen it's their problem. That's why we have to lock up the cars overnight so s*** like that doesn't happen. Who says it couldn't be the tire place? If they had the car that long, they could have looked behind the glove box and known/ told someone where they were at to steal them.

Also as mentioned above.. why did you leave the car there and not the wheel?

2 of the wheels were messed up and i could not drive the car. the original plan was to sent out my 2 tires to be fixed so the car was put on jack stands. but the wheels place said they could not fix them so i had to order new ones

I would think if they had your car there and kept it locked, nothing would have been taken. If your car shows no signs of a break-in or forced entry...............YOU ARE GETTING HOSED!!!!

Sorry

I would report it to the police, get some finger prints and maybe it'll match one of the employees...or let your insurance do all the work, I'm sure they'll do an investigation on those guys!

Did they just cut the wires from your AFC and stuff or was it nicely removed? I would look in craigslist or ebay right now and see if any are for sale!

Sorry to hear this man, I live close to E.C. and I would be really pissed off if anyone ever try to do this to me.
