Odd request I know.. I wanna do my cams today and the only thing I need is a valve spring compressor.. Anybody willin to part with one for the day? You can even staand there and watch me use it I don't care.. I just don't want to buy a 120$ snap on one for one time. Any help would be really appreciated.. I'm in the whitemarsh area btw.. Thanks alot.. I doubt I'll get any reasonable comments back.. But it's worth a shot

 

Are you doing springs as well? If you arent, you dont need the valve spring compressor. The one tool that is needed for the cam install is the Evo timing belt tensioning tool. Without that, it's a pain. As for the valve spring compressor tool, borrow one from auto zone or buy one and return it tomorrow.

 

I'm doing springs retainors.. Seats.. Ect.. Autozone/advance does not rent them out anymore they said. Thanks for the response tho.. And I have the ams timing belt tensioner tool.
