Next meet....k lots of people have been asking about this one! Does that mean you guys just love hanging out with us ...ok I'll stop now

So I was thinking what about under the Solomon's bridge....we could get some AWESOME shots from yours truly under there. Maybe everyone bring camping chairs and we could all shoot the **** and actually get to meet everyone ...maybe grab lunch somewhere local?

Lets pin-point a date..... September 12 anyone?

I also thought about maybe doing a test & tune day at MIR.... September 26 its a Sunday and if we went in the morning -more guaranteed to get lots of runs in. Maybe this time we can actually see each others cars get down and dirty and I can whip out my mad launching skills...bwahaha ok ok I'm done what you guys...and girlies think?

Yay I'm glad it sounds good so far

Yeah the bridge has lots of parkign and could be ideal for a big meet but everyone would have to bring camping chairs...or sit on the ground lol. && yeah I think MIR would be pretty fun... & safe.

We got the JDM rears from a company called driveline in CA... http://drivelinestore.com/ i want to say $715 shipped & already painted

both things sound great. only problem i have is that last night i ran out of antifreeze but that was a easy fix as long as its stays there this time or i can figure out where it is all going and then this afternoon when i went to leave work it wouldn't start so it is just sitting at my office. it turns over but wont fire. any ideas as to why she wont start? not sure if the crazy rain has anything to do with that or not but im hoping she fires up tomorrow when i get off. fingers crossed

Did the temp gauge go up (overheat)? You are either leaking the coolant or burning it. If you didnt see a puddle than that might not be a good sign. You need to verify you have spark, fuel, then compression. Considering you spoolin up setup, I'd suggest skipping to the compression test. I have one you could borrow if you'd like. Otherwise I'd be happy to lend a hand if you want.

Follow Travis' advice, compression check. I'd start with simple things like looking to see if anything is leaking. If that checks out, check your oil and coolant to see if either one is mixed with the other. If you need an extra set of hands, send me a PM.

Dang. Check your oil for signs of it being dilluted and milky. Check your coolant for signs of oil and a muddy brown color. Then compression test it. Good luck bud and let me know.

Edit: George you beat me to it.

HALES!! you were reading my mind... I was thinking that we should do a Solomons meet. Especially in the parking lot across from Cateramans (not sure about the spelling) but where that little board walk is. That is if we can get all of the cars on the same row of course.... I bet that would make for some good pics with the water in the back ground.....Of course I dont have a photographer eye like you do. I also have one of those canopies that you can put up in case its hot as b***s out, at least we can take turns sheltering from the sun.

As for porters problem It sounds like you might have blown a head gasket. Dont know that much about turbo cars but did you see any white smoke coming from your exhaust. Im thinking the gasket blew and fowled your plugs. just my 2 cents, I hope thats not the issue.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking last night that if it was compression wouldn't I have noticed something wrong on the way to work yesterday morning? I know that I have spark on all 4. Fuel I'm not 100% sure about. As for any smoke I never saw any. The oil looks good it dose have a gas smell to it and the coolant is green with no muddy look to it. What sucks is that I'm leaving for Myrtle beach tomorrow and I'm trying not to leave it sit at the office the whole time. I tried to start it this morning thinking maybe something got wet and needed to dry but that didn't work. Still turns over but wont fire up.

Oil smelling like gas is blowby past your rings from running rich. It's alright, to an extent. Did your coolant drain out again? Did you notice and puddles? Are you throwing any CEL's? Take off the timing belt cover and make sure your cam gears are still lined up. You might have jumped a few teeth. If those are lined up, do a compression test. Report back with the results.
