Getting the Spec-Ops tune together *post here*
I wish there was a better way to explain it. The feeling of the car after a tune is so different. The fact that it pulls from the minute the gas hits the floor instead of a delay and you can feel the car going thru power bands. Afterwards, it just pulls. You can feel it on the dyno as well. To be honest... i may be guessing on the low side as well... its only that low due to him not having a complete exhaust. I'd say i average from a stock map'd car to a full custom tune with full exhaust, boost controller and some sort of intake, whether drop in filter or whatever, probably 75 to 80whp gain. I've had some as high as 130 gain over their base pull. It varies for sure... but, that is usually how they turn out. I dont think i have ever tuned an Evo9 and not broke 300whp with it, nomatter what the mods are.
oh i know about the diff. When i took my car to STM the first time it wouldnt boost above 14 with a profec b, switched to a hallman and it was a night and day car. yea turned the boost to 18 or 19 cant remember but it was like holy crap.
Come on peeps, a real good tune, great price. Need ONE more to make it happen, if I can't get another person by Thurs. I'm going to call it and everyone will have to find another way to get a tune. I REALLY DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN, I don't want this great opportunity to fall by the wayside!
I would really hate to have this fall through as well, cause i really need the tune, and they were gonna install my injectors and fuel pump as well, if we can't get this to go through, guess I will have to make a trip down there to get it done.
