Sound level is at the cops discretion, thats more than likely his rule of thumb. Biggest thing that helped me out, was painting my muffler and tip flat black. They see a big shiney fartcan and a 5in chrome tip and your done for. Once I rattle canned my Thermal exhaust with 4in tip never got another ticket. Still no tickets with my stock looking magnaflow painted black either.

u guys know a decent powder coat shop in richmond? Im thinking of getting my wheels powder coated. How much do they ususally go for?

haha.. i was thinking of selling those.. but then i won't have a set of rims until i get a new set. Im trying to go with white on white and i cant find any other wheels that look better than the advans..

So...powdercoating them.. not a good idea???

 

I wouldn't powdercoat them, but its you're decision, since you make the car look however you want it to. I like the color and look of them as they sit now. What size and offset are they do you know?

Oh Im in Richmond va area... CHesterfield etc.. I have actually 4 other friends with evos.. BTW Me and my buddy chris are installing a FPRED on his evo friday and Ill be tuning it on saturday so if anyone is interested in seeing what an FPred does on an evo 8 on pump gas with HKS cams(switching them out soon) SHoot me a PM and get a ride.

 

Oh and the next week after that we are going to be installing a FPred on my buddys Evo 9.. ANd Ill be re tuning my car (HTA86) as well. So any guys who are close to stock and trying to decide on what turbo to go with should deff come and hang out.
