watch out for standing water!

Today I very cleanly removed my varis replica front lip from my 8 on the way home from work.... Hit some standing water and when I came out the other side there was no lip and my pass side fenderwell liner was crammed up over my tire
Anyone have a stock lip layin around lol?

Damn man...............if there weren't flash flood warnings down here when the storm came through (you caught it after it hit us) I'd feel sorry for you.

Been driving my FX4 this past week; Evo's may handle like a dream in the rain............but **** the price of a new lip..................

yeah, I think I jacked up one of my fenderwells as well. my car handled great the two days I had to drive. I just avoided water that I thought was too high and very slowly waded throught some shallow stuff. Think it was a unexpected puddle on the interstate that jacked my wheel well liner. would have driven my truck too, but didn't have base stickers to get to work so had to drive the car.

I cracked my lip a bit on the pass corner a couple weeks ago on a friends driveway.... it's damn near impossible to avoid scraping/banging an aftermarket lip up

Lmfao!! i did that last week when it was pouring out here in Pasadena. I didn't have a choice but go through the water since cars were going around on the opposite side and my lip was gone and tore up the fender well liner haha
