Well right now I am thinking about selling my 2003 LY VIII and trying to get myself a 2010 or 2011 Evo X MR. part of the thinking is right now that between myself and my wife there is only one vehicle that she can drive( she doesn't drive stick). Also at this point in time I just don't have the time that I want or need to work on the car. But this too is all depending on whether or not I get back into the military, as the job I have right now does not pay enough to be able to afford it. And if I get the X it will not get all the Mods I have on my VIII, just some simple bolt ons like exhaust and intake. then the rest will probably be exterior mods. Curious to what ya'll think I should be able to ask for my car if I sell it, 03 with 72,XXX miles. like I said I still have a major deciding factor that has to be answered before actually goin through, but I am on the seriously pondering side of doing this. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

other mods that aren't in my sig are: Seibon carbon front fenders, JDM IX tails, Black UK rear badging, smoked front and rear side markers, Rexpeed color matching Vortex Generator, Perrin Shorty antenna and shift know, Sparco Seats, Gmeter, Konig Runaway 18x9 wheels, Painted black headlight housing, Cusco rear strut bar and three point brace, also have an ACT HD clutch that has yet to be installed.

 

How much are you trying to sell it for?? I know someone trying to buy one since he owns a vdub "FAIL" putting a 3rd motor haha

I'm thinking you should be able to get at least 15 to 16k for that car. How is the interior of the car?

 

once I get some pics of the interior I will put them up, I don't smoke, and I didn't let anyone smoke in it, the front Sparco's are a little faded but that it, one of the buttons on the Climate controls doesn't work, but that will be fixed before I sell. but this probably won't be up for sale for a little bit yet, as I am waiting to see if I am able to get back in the military, if I do I will be selling it, if I don't then i am keeping it, all for the financial reasons. 15K is what I was hoping to get out of it, but the car was in a fender bender like four years ago, but was repaired, you can't even tell on anypart of the car that it was, but didn't know if that would play a part in the cost, of course it has rock chips and such in the paint from normal wear and tear. also there is a dent in the drivers door. and couple of years ago too I blew the transfer case. but it was sent to Shep and got a rebuilt one, and have had no problems since, car runs like a champ. If I get back into the military, and I get the small stuff fixed that i want to, then it will be up for sale. when and if it goes up for sale the mid-atlantic will be first to know. and when that goes up, I will have a crapload of pics so that anybody interested can see.

but tonight I got one step closer to getting a X MR, as I was talking to the wife and convinced her(or she gonna let me) to get one, and she already decided on one of too colors GG or WW, but again she reminded me, only........ only if I get back into the military that I can get one. so now I am just waiting for a date for my physical and waiting to see if Uncle Sam will take me back for another 12 years lol.

 

haha, alright sir let us know...i'm in the academy right now for being a cop for AACO wanted to do MTA but its to much so i'd rather be closer to home. never did like the X's but the MR i test drove just wasn't a good feel with the pad shift so yea. lol
