What qualifies as extreme? You can turn the p1400 code off in your periphery bits. There might be some effect to the idle, but then there might not. It depends on which rom you're on.
If I can get the time away from work I'm down to come out. I meet the drinking age requirement.

Thanks for the update, but I have no idea what ROM I'm on. Do I need to purchase some tuning device to find out? It's basically stock and I bought it from the dealership a few months back. I asked them about this CEL as it came on when I took it for a test drive. They said they would fix it, but they just cleared the code. I have a code reader/eraser now so I monitor my car a lot now.

How's March 5th for everyone? I say we meet up around 2 - 5pm but the time can be changed due to how many can meet. We can meet near the mall (Tysons) and take some pictures then go for a drive to a place to chill and eat and talk. I should have some parts installed as I'm getting my turbo back on tomorrow.

It's fairly straight forward. I'd be happy to lend a hand if you'd like.
You'll need a cable ($100-$125), a laptop and ecu flash (free software) to pull your rom. Once you have it see if you can adjust specific bits in your periphery tables. If they're not available you can add the definitions for them to your specific rom metadata.
