Going down to Richmond VA...
Hey guys,
I'm going down to Richmond VA next week after my finals for school are done with. I was wondering what the good malls were down there to check out. I plan to do my Christmas shopping down there. Also, are there any places I should check out while down there?

It all depends on what side of Richmond you're on.
North side (towards Ashland) or Mechanicsville - Virginia Center Commons. Nearby are quite a few other stores (i.e. Circuit City, Target).
West End - Just about anything you'll need is on Broad Street. The new Short Pump Mall is nice, but bring your coat since it's mostly outside. Regency Mall is indoors, although I've heard a lot of the stores backed out of Regency and went to the new Short Pump Mall. Both are nice, though.
South Side - Just about anything you'll need will be on Midlothian Tnpk. Chesterfield Towne Center is indoors and is nice. Still some good stores there and surrounded by just about anything you need (i.e. Circuit City, Best Buy, Target, Kohl's, Toys R Us, Lowes, etc, etc). There's a new Stony Point Shopping Center (also mainly outdoors) that tries to portray a more upscale image - some of the prices reflect it. Lotsa nice restaraunts though. Even further south (toward Petersburg) is Southpark Mall. A few nice stores there and lots of good surrounding stores.
East End - You're in the ghetto man, get in your car and drive to the West End.
I personally would recommend Short Pump Mall, Chesterfield Towne Center or Regency Mall.
