Just changed my springs tonight on my 8

 

oh nice!! i love the evo 8's... and i am jealous about your springs. what brand did you go with?

 

Went with the swift sport springs..dropped the front 1.4" and the rear .8" so it's lower but not too low..I like it

 

good choice. swift is all you need and maybe some whiteline swaybars after you get used to the springs for more handling. I wouldn't do coilovers till you are tracking regularly for competition and have "outgrown" any swift setup

 

Do you all plan to go certain Sunday's?
I stopped by this past Sunday @ 930am for 20 mins but there were only 5 cars there and no other fellow EVO owners.
I want to meet other EVO owners, hopefully EVO X to get some ideas for my car (in-person)... they were all bimmers and muscle cars

 

go to the chic fil a meet this friday last week was very good. its right behind dulles town center mall

Idk man I heard about this meet but never enough details or how many evos but also I heard the Springfield meet at hard times on Mondays at 8 which I'm going to check out this Monday as well saw on dcevoclubs facebook that we need evos to represent there

Va Rides Saturday in Fredericksburg at the Quaker Steak and Lube. I know of about at least 8 Evo's that should be there.

 

Someone should make master list of all the weekly meets; times and places. It'd be a lot easier than jumping through multiple threads

Ill go if you go cuz last time i went i saw only an evo 8 n 9 n they werent very friendly when i tried 2 talk 2 them. in fact i used 2 go 2 chic fillet n that was poppin back then n probably still is. I might check that one out on fridays n c if they r still meeting there...
