Was this in Tyson's corner? is DC Evo still active?

 

I moved out to Leesbug, VA about 2 years ago or so. I'd have to say the whole time I've been here, I've only seen a handful of evo's. I just bought a 2013 white evo x, completely stock. I drive around to ashburn, sterling, chantilly, and manassass mainly for work. Hopefully you'll see me around more.

 

Are you the guy that I met at the gas station in Lansdowne? I also live in Leesburg. I roll with the CCEVO and DCEvoClub. We always have some type of event going on. We're mostly on FB now though.

 

Actually no I wasn't that guy you met. I haven't seen many evo's riding around though. I must spend too much time at work where do you guys normally meet up?

 

There's a weekly meet at Hard Times in Springfield. That's a little far, so I don't go that often, but I'd roll with you if you want to go. There's also a BBQ coming up next week. I can PM you the info if you're interested in that as well.

 

Yes, this is in Tyson's Corner, before the construction area if you are heading W on 7. And, DC Evo is still around...maybe not so active, but alive.

 

Like Smoothy said. D.C. EvO is around. Most members are dormat in terms of posting but some of the members still hang out. I think there's suppose to be the Annual BBQ over at Chik's in Tyson's Corner off of Route 7 in the next few weeks.

Yea man that would be great. I moved out here and started working. Haven't done a damn thing but that. Making good money, but no social life. It would be great to meet new people, as well as other fellow evo owners

 

Just got my 2011 WW GSR last week. I live in Leesburg and haven't seen too many around. There's a grey X that's parked in my complex (Bellemeade) but haven't met the owner yet.

 

Hello and welcome fellow Evo owner. Yes. There are plenty of Evo owners all around the area. Some of them meet in certain cars and coffee areas within the area and if u have a facebook account there a ton of Evo owners around the area n beyond the US. If you do have a facebook account, You can start with "Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Owners" and "Tri-State Evo X". I think theres some info on the exact locations for the cars and coffee in this forum bcuz my buddy wrote it but im replying using my phone so i cant reference it.

Welcome! And like DarkTemplar stated there are plenty around. I hang with CCEVO (Capital City Evolution) a lot and we are now doing meets/shows/etc about 1-2 times a week all around DC, some in VA, some in MD, PA, VA Beach, even NJ.
