06 MR vs 08 GSR

Can anyone comment on the performance and re-sale differences between a 2006 MR (6MT) and 2008 GSR (5MT)? I'm in the market for an Evo, currently looking at the 08 with 49k miles for 23,000 and 06 with 37k miles for 24,000... similar condition, etc.

Since no one has answered you yet, I would suggest the 06 MR, the 6spd is nice for hi way driving if you do any of that, and the 10 is a much different Evo that the older versions. The 10 is a numbed version compared to the 8's and 9's. There are more creature comforts on the 10 though. Cruise control and a more adaptive AWC system. having owned a 2008 GSR I missed the 6th gear of my 05 MR.

In terms of resale value, I dont know if one will be worh more over the other.
