So I'm currently looking for a new car. Had it narrowed down to either an 08 Acura TL or Lexus ES350. I stopped by a used car lot yesterday to look at a TL. As I'm about to leave, one of the guys there pulls in a black Evo IX. All of a sudden, I wanted a Mitsu again lol. I'm seriously considering getting it now..

I had a 04 Ralliart but never owned an Evo. This car has some mods on it. From what I can see- intake, exhaust and bov. Its got gauges, turbo timer and some wiring inside hanging. I drove it and it seems solid. However, I would like a professional opinion. it has low mileage and clean carfax but its already been through 3 owners. Pretty good price too. I would like to take it to a local performance shop to have them inspect it but the dealer will not let me do that. I'm hoping to find someone knowledgable thats willing to come take a look at it with me. I'm willing to pay if necessary.
