any good places in md. d.c. area to install mods
The Evo has a three-layer metal head gasket, standard. I'd say the head fasteners are pretty stout, too. I don't think you're going to lift the head off under any street gas level of boost. If you plan to run race gas and 35 psi, perhaps the upgraded fasteners would be important. But otherwise, I'd leave it alone.

I'm a big fan of Ultimate Performance in Dulles. I've had my winter tires mounted/balanced there, my boost gauge/controller installed and will have some other stuff done there before long. Very knowledgeable guys and outstanding customer service. They are also into imports and fabrication work. Soon to have an AWD DynoJet, too....
Thanks Dan!
I will leave it alone probably. I already bought the items but won't be doing them since I decided to sell my car today anyways.. now putting them on will be up to next owner
thanks again.

I am importing my car from Turkey, Evo6tme. So I will sure need some money to do that and plus my new project after I got it to the U.S.
I wish I can keep both but i really need some money plus I don't see any reason keeping two evos in my garage
lol

With the stock ecu, there is really not many things you can do to control ignition timing, etc.
However, now it is better for someone that is using it as a daily driver. Smooth and very safe for the engine. Since I decided to sell it to import my evo6, i think that would be a better idea. However, new owner can buy the aem or any kind of standalone engine managemet anytime and get it tuned in PA for free since I paid for the tuning already.
John, I will sure post pics if that import thing happens.
