Hey dxbevo9. this is their website www.gulf-sport.com Very helpful people. The DBA agents handed me left and right front rotors and told me "2 piece rotors" That too after waiting patiently for almost 2 months......

Still getting the car ready..... But can't resist the temptation to drive it till it's totally ready. Interiors are still basic apart from the defi gauges. Haven't put any audio in it as yet.... have the equipment lying in the house much to the dismay of my gf!!!

Sure will meet up sometime... Just let me add a few finishing touches...

And please don't show up with the gf's prancing horse to knock my pants off!!!

 

 

I'm on Performance Friction myself, and use it extensively for track duty. They are not cheap, but they have performed admirably -- no fade, and they last forever.

Look for Mike Scott at Gulf Sport and let him know that Kenneth referred you -- if you are taking Al Barsha road towards the Autodrome, take a left turn at the 2nd traffic junction AFTER the traffic junction to 1000Dunes/Performance Garage.

After the left turn, make another left turn at the T-junction and 50m ahead on your right is Gulf Sport. You will probably see a blue Clio Sport parked outside, along with a silver M3.

@ dxbevo9 : moosa, they usually have it in stock. ryan has picked one up already and is very happy with them for autocross.
@ kartevo : mashallah, you have a very nice Evo. I see you have the APR front splitter and canards, along with the GT wing. These would be a great help on track. There's a track evening coming up on the 20th, come join the fun!

Sorry been out of town. In Goa India on an extended vacation...... Sun... Sand and everything else in between. But the mods continue on the car... Just got a set of Bride Low Max seats delivered by Performance Dubai but have to get back to fit them.....

Been clowning around in a Skoda RS (dull driving anything without a turbo) with H&R suspension, 18" Fox Racing Wheels, Supersprint Exhaust and a few engine mods but the roads are not kind to the car!!!

Will post some updates as soon as I get back.......

 

I'd love to meet some of you Dubai evo guys, PM me a way to get ahold of you when I arrive. I would love to see some more of Dubai as this is my 10th time there, and I always end up seeing the same stuff. I would love to check out some shops too if that is possible. Thanks, Freddie

If you want we can meet at the Mall of the Emirates or the Hard Rock or somewhere such as that. Also if you would like, if you can get a tactrix cable www.tactrix.com my buddy can street tune you while we are there. He says that he would love to tune you, and it would cost nothing, it would be a trade off for showing us around. You will also get a free lunch and gas too! Also who owns the white evo VII?? I saw one fly past the hard rock towards Jebel Ali the other night, just caught a glimpse so I don't know what it was...Cheers
