After browsing the net a little bit I found out that Evo Xs are actually available in Kuwait.

I have tried emailing them to enquire about the price but have gotten no response as of yet. Was wondering if anyone has actually personally gone down to the showrooms to find out what the specs and prices are. Looks like only GSR is the only model available, in both auto and manual.

 

Hey man, the manual is like 13200KD, as for the auto 13800KD if am not mistaken, and both of them are GSR we don't get the MR here cuz they get the evo from germany, I'll try and get one of the guys to help you out get it, he's on the forum I'll send him a PM for the exact price

 

Oh great thanks! The thing is I am not in Kuwait atm. Will be back there is March so wanted to find out what an Evo X is going for. The guy from the Mitsubishi dealership responded to the email, but he wants me to call the salesman that specializes in Evo Xs so will just wait till I get back and call him if I don't get a quote here.

Has anyone tried buying it in the US or abroad then getting it shipped to Kuwait? If so how much did it set you back?

On different topic I have heard that after market body kits are illegal in Kuwait is that true? Or you can get some special type of authorization to get the kits?

Siku, there are now quite a few X's in Kuwait already. The sales guy @ the stealership is Rayn. The price for the Manual iz KWD 12,800.000 and the auto is 13,200.000.

My friend got it from the states and it cost him a bit more than the numbers u see above, but then i think its worth it. Most of his mods are right on and also, the COBB accessport works on the USDM only not the EUDM's. Now the bad side, Evos sold here have a 3 year warranty (without mods) and my friends imported evo x has none. So its ur choice what you wanna go for... personally i dont give 2 **** about it!

 

Ah thanks evo_q8. After this post I did into importing the car to Kuwait, and go a quote for the shippiment and an Evo X from a dealer. It would actually be as low as KD. 9100 to get the car to the port in Kuwait. You have any idea how much the custom will be? Like how much percent?

If I were you I would get an evo 9 or 8 in the state, and sent it to buschur racing and get it fully built and tuned for 93oct and send it to Kuwait, you'll have one bad *** beast running 600+whp
