Michigan Gingermans Raceway
Check it... We got the
to race at gingermans which is a race track here in Michigan.. its about 1 1/2 hours from chicago..... SO ANYONE LOOKING TO HAVE FUN ONLYl... No money (unless on the side) Just Mitsu owners looking to have some fun.. on a real race track.. not a parking lot with cones!!! Everyone invited... FOOD GIRLS WHAT EVER YOU WANNA BRING>>
Its in South Haven Michingan.... About 1hr and half or 2 hours .. Pending on your speed...... from chicago.... Any car that is a Mitsubishi..... No, restictions... This is gonna be all Fun... Nothing serious .. Just a bunch of Mitsubishi owners... who love their cars.. going at it on a race trackk..... For example.. My Oz Lancer 03.. Is all stock.. At least the engine is... My friend has a mirage with a bodykit... short shifter and cold intake.... Like i said... Hopefullly tons of fun.. on a reall track... I just need to know how many people would come.. so I could set up a time/date... It should be free to race... Worst case scenerio ... Not alot of people come... I could most likely get alot of people I know from Kalamazoo.... to come down.... We, All street race in K-Zoo,,, alot... well at least we did in summer... So, one way or another if you have a need for speed .. or just to be around people with the same intrests as you in person.... then this should be a great time... Let me know if ... If you have friends or if you still intrested .. so I could set this... up... "I will see if i can post a pic of the track
I would love to see this event happening. I will definitely come if there is going to be a meet and I'll see if we get some more Mitsu owners together. What date were you thinking? Next Year?
Hope this works out

I had the opportunity to drive at Gingerman a few months back. It's a decently laid out road course, nothing terribly fancy.
It was expensive, from what I can recall. I didn't pay, so I'm not sure what the exact cost was to run the track.
The biggest problem I have with this idea is the inevitable idiot we will have tagging along that only wants to drive recklessly. Needless to say, insurance claims made from a race track won't be filled very quickly.
Not that I'm against this idea, but a crowded race track is a very dangerous place, especially if you're like me, and can't afford to fix your car.
Although I think it might be fun, I don't recall an option to run one car at a time. This would be the best plan, especially since few people here have true high-speed driving experience. I'm talking good braking, cornering and handling under speed. Those of you that are going to try defending yourselves by saying "I drive over 100 miles per hour, every night" can stuff it. Switching lanes on the expressway at 100 is nothing. Try cornering through a hairpin while adjusting your radio.
Still, if this is going to happen, I'm game.
And last I checked, Gingerman required helmets. I forgot the web site, so I haven't verified recently. I could be wrong.

I don't really see the problem. The whole point is just to have a fun day out and see what the car is capable of. If there is anybody who drives recklessly we can always kîck him out and have fun for ousrelves. I wouldn't worry too much - just enjoy! No competition or anything.
