oops, sorry i'm stupid and didn't realize you were in this thread, been a long day yesterday. what do you think of the track? any good? ever raced there?

 

I think the track is decent... I won't be all about speed... you will need some skill to race on it.. there are a couple really sharp turns... I live in a tourist town... so the track isn't like Daytona or anything but.. it is a reall trackk.. Not a big *** parking lot... OHH did a meantion this a tourist town... and in the summer this place is filled with out of towners (girls) chillin at the beach.. YES we have a beach.. about 3 miles from the track!! Go for the rush ,then go for a dip!

it would be an awesome event if that track day could be our initiation day! i haven't had the time yet for mods..but i hope i can go without any let's try to get this thing organized. i dunno how though..website would be nice

wow...driving on a track. what do u need for that? just your license? im only 16 and i got my license in May..is it still ok for me to go there? my dad used to race so he can get me through i think from what i hear right now, there's NO RESTRICTIONS? that's cool for me, i can go there with my near stock lancer and race/drive on the track!

Sorry this is kinda long.... but informative:
The only thing about the track is it is all flat ... No inclines.. How ever very fun.... There is a site about the track... there are a ton of little fun events that go on there and what not... Sometime little kids who wanna race.. have big *** Go cart races... (they get going damn fast tooo!!) BMW's.. I have even seen a few lamborinini's<--sp there... and alot of porshes + imports!!! I am trying to find a layout of the course.....for you all.... Also... Even if we can't get the track soon... we should all meet up.. and at least get to meet each other in person!!! I think that would be great... The guys from the NY area just had a meet... Its time we represent or side over here!!!(if the weather allows!)
B.T.W. I live next to a guy who owns a logo business... We could get some designed for us for dirt cheap... 7yr quality. I had every thing on my car done for less than 30 installed!! any collor you all want..! So, whats is our next mission... ? Do we require a certain # of people?

the logo's another great idea; all we need is the club FIRST then someone to design the logo lol. we'll figure something out..not in a few seconds though.

i don't think we NEED a fix number of people..but more the merrier!

This could be fun. I could definately deal with a meet up some time over my Christmas break. (December 14- January 13) Im working on a few logo designs and playing with some names in my head, but nothing worth sharing right now,lol. Oh about the track, looks pretty cool. I dunno if I could manage racing though, Ive autocrossed a number of times and am still afraid to get cone scrapes on my car, nevermind backing my car into a wall, lol. Oh well, take it easy guys.

Actually I work in Arlington Heights, which is more well known than Bolingbrook. If you know where Downer's Grove, Darien or Lemont are, you'll know where Bolingbrook is. It's actually where I355 becomes I55.

I am stuck on names myself.... I am all hyped up to see that everyone is serious!! Think.. our own club!!! Kinda makes you feel like a BIG KID<><><> Back to the subject.. Mmmm.. a name... I dunno.. Hey, bobaab,,I am a 21yr old white guy who loves little asian girls... so I wont be suprised I used to hang with a group of asains so I am used to diversity.. Besides it is not about age or race.. it about having a good time! Ohh,, did I mention I draw Anime.. To everyone who is in: the club... I guess our first thing as a CarClub of Lancers would be to come up with a name.. So everyone throw out IDEAS.. no matter how dumb you think they are:

 

yeys i live in Schaumburg and i drive a yellow 2002 lancer O-Z, + i have a buddy of mine who has 2003 Black lancer and lives block away from me and we wanted to make a racing team as well. so now there is more of us, someone should get the plan and **** and make a TEAM!
